Taking care of the elderly has been my calling for 20yrs. I started caring for my best friends mother for 10yrs until her death. I've worked in several states and many facilities. It is my passion. I've also had 2 restaurants working as a chef, I loved that as well. However caring for the elderly gives me great joy and sometimes great pain. It is worth it to me. I have a 33 yr old daughter and 3 beautiful grandchildren who are my pride and joy. When my father was diagnosed with Alzheimer's I was living in St Louis Missouri. I moved back to Texas to help my mother with him until his death 6yrs later. This calling that chose me is hard, but rewarding.
