I cared for a 100 year old from 7pm-7am five nights a week. Assisted with meals/feeding, bathing, grooming, hygiene, medication, and transferring from bed to walker/wheelchair to recliner/chair. I kept him company with conversations and reading to him. Performed some household chores, kept place tidy, and did laundry. Main responsibility was to keep him safe, be there when he used the bathroom during the night or awaken to assure he didn't fall and hurt himself, and to be his companion. I was present and helped with his transition from this life to external life in heaven.

Worked as part of a team who cared for over 80 residents (a few with pets) during an 8 hour shift. Responsibilities and tasks included: making sure residents ate their meals, grooming, bathing, hygiene, laundry, addressed resident's concern(s) when they called for a caregiver, took residents in wheelchair for walks, and helped with day to day tasks. Helped residents transition and understand the COVID-19 initial lockdown and the changes that followed.
