My understanding of each client condition. My ability to communicate effectively with client. My patience, thoughtfulness, and a cheerful disposition. Knowledge of medical terminology and medical experience. My great sense of humor. Professional attitude and great demeanor. I had a friend who's mother was in a nursing home with dementia and her mother wondered out of the nursing home and was almost hit by a car. Since then, I developed this great part of caring for the elderly and naturally, I'm a loving and caring person. Just being able to see my client smile all day and to lighten their day up. Makes me joyful. I was able to get a client who was a diabetic, hypertensive, wounds, etc. Who was on serveral medications for various condition. Cut back on most of the medications and the doctors where amaz. Just pleases my heart. Most of all my dependebility.

I am a National Certified Patient Care Technician.I have experience with people diagnosed with dementia, strokes, cancer, C. O. P. D, total care, quadriplegic, diabetes, high blood pressure, neuropathy, CHF, and other heart conditions, Multiple sclerosis. I'm sure I missed a few, will update later. I have experience working as a HR manager for a homecare agency.I am familiar with names if many types if medication. I have experience with hoyer lift, wheel chair, lift, transfer, ambulatory, bed pan, colostomy, urinal, catheter care, perineal care, feeding, cooking, taking all vital signs. I help with physical activity and therapy. I'm sure I missed a few from that list as well but will definitely update. I am a person brings a positive vibe and attitude.
