I`m great with people very out going and up beat. I have taken care of my Step Dad who had colon cancer with mets to the liver kidney and lungs, had Grand mal seizures, had COPD, congestive heart failure, had a mild stroke that affected his left side, brain cancer and brain surgery, neuropathy, diabetic, fatty liver, kidney failure, asthma, bipolar disorder, PTSD. I also helped take care of my uncle who had lung cancer and went through chemo, and i took care of my aunt who was paralyzed from waste down, ive changed colostomy bags as well. I`ve had multiple family members that were in the position of needing assistance with day to day life and how down they became but when having some one there to help them, sit with them and just listen to them or what ever the case may be it brightened them up so much! That is what made me want to become a caregiver. I enjoy most of all is seeing there face lit up them smiling and laughing, bringing joy to others lives is definitely the best feeling in the world. One of My biggest achievements is my 3 year old, hes high functioning autistic and was non-verbal, but with a lot of work from myself and others we have gotten him from one word speech to him putting 2 words together in just the last month!
