As a kid I was drawn to the elderly. I didn't know back then why my heart felt such warmth when I was around someone elderly. As I became an adult, the compassion and passion that I felt grew even stronger. Being a caregiver is my ministry. I truly love the elderly and I have a servant's heart. It is very rewarding to put a smile on someone's face because you are genuinely concerned and care. It's also rewarding to gain the trust of the family and in return you become a part of the family. My personal achievement is recognizing that it is truly a gift to be able to love beyond myself and to be able to make an elderly person's day! I am the mother of a 21 year old daughter. I love decorating, cooking and baking! I, also, enjoy going to church.
