About Krystal

Hi! My name is Krystal and I am a graduate student at the University of North Texas. Though my current career focus is in Environmental Science, my history at work has always been dedicated to providing in-home care to a variety of individuals. Over the years I have met numerous individuals from various walks of life and I have had the opportunity to learn something unique from each of them. This is my favorite part about the job! Often the sick and elderly are removed from the hustle and bustle of everyday life (and in some cases forgotten), but I enjoy being able to slow down and indulge in the simple pleasures of life that we often ignore until we are providing care for someone else. For example, being able to enjoy a walk in the middle of the day or read an old book with a witty ending and charming tale. Doing these things, while providing care has given me a sense of purpose and fulfillment while I pursue my other interests and career. This is why I promise to be more than a caregiver.
