About Pamela

I became a caregiver by default, my mom suffered a massive stroke and the hospital was so nice to arrange a meeting with the nursing staff to educate me and my sisters on how to provide care for her. I cried, I made every excuse as to why I shouldn't see my mom in that way. But, the schedule was made, mom was discharged and my care day was quickly approaching. On my first day I put on my brave face and sucked it up for this wonderful woman who had shown me love my entire life and put my best foot forward, at the end of my shift she looked at me with tears in her eyes and said, thank you. The rest is history, I was overwhelmed with this rewarding feeling and thought of, if I could make everyone sick feel like she feel at this moment, consumed me. My loving, compassionate and caring personality allow me to be an awesome caregiver. I enjoy looking into a satisfied, comfortable and happy patient eyes after receiving my care. I am most proud of my beautiful grand babies 5 &6 Naomi & Noah. I am also very proud of the women I have become as a result of my parents.

I cared for many individuals with different needs cancer, lipedema, shingles, those in need of companion care, Muscular dystrophy and lupus, etc. Their services included assistance with bathing, dressing, driving to appointments, running errands, some housekeeping, meal preps, medication reminding, planning outings, daily assessment of patient and update office and family of any changes. Some clients live alone so there were additional services provided which is appropriate considering the patient circumstances.

I started from taking care of my mother when she became critically ill by providing bathing and grooming, cooking her meals, and driving her to her doctor's appointments and other engagements.
