Hi my name is Isabel . I was a caregiver for 7 yrs for 2 clients. First let me start by saying that I absolutely love being a caregiver. I didn't know I would love it so much. Client 1 was a sever case of rheumatoid arthritis ,and congestive heart failure . I assisted him with daily needs like med reminder, bathing , toileting assistance ,cooking, cleaning. Client 2 was a paraplegic and needed wound care from hospital visits. He was a hospice patient in his last days. I helped him with daily living and transferring twice daily. I am very thankful for the strength I was blessed with to keep the promise I made to stay by their side till the last day. It was challenging and heartbreaking but i stayed every day till the end. I love helping people out and just being there for them when in need.
