I have a quadriplegic younger brother with Spina Bifa that I have taken care of most of my preteen and teenage years. He is the reason I love home health care. I found myself needing to care for my mom who fell broke her neck. She became quadriplegic. To keep her from going to a nursing home. My only daughter was 2. My oldest brother needed my help, no question I was there. These were very good years. I have worked in commission sales and real estate for over 20 years. I used a Hoyer lift it was invaluable, people must learn about lifting equipment. So not to injure their backs. I prefer to work in Houston now with in 15 miles. I have a pleasing attitude and look for the same I understand difficult times and prefer not to dwell on them. I try to look towards more positive endeavors. I am open to helping care for a special needs person.
