I am a very outgoing and upbeat person. Patient at all times. I love to hear clients stories and build a relationship founded on trust and care. I have an extensive background with caring for individuals who may be considered "hard to deal with". All personality types are welcome. I am a fairly decent cook and do not mind housekeeping and organizing.
agian....started care giving @ 8 yrs.old. Siblings. Then as my own children ,friends came to our house when they ran away from home etc.I would secretly call parentts tell them kids were okay. When smoke settled, they went back home.Principle here ask me one time, how many kids i had anyway...then a sr. citizen in our neighborhood was very sjck.and had nobody..........seems my future was set.I love being with, doing for and listening to sr. citizens.......................B.F.M.

Its funny my grandma was a RN and my mom did home health the whole time I was growing up. And I swore i would NEVER do it. Well in 2007 when recession started I kept losing one retail job after another. So I ended up having to move back in with mom. She offered to pay for me to take a CNA class and I could pay her back with my taxes. So I did. And i haven't stopped yet I have gone further and received my Certified Medication Aide license as well and hopefully will be able to continue my education in nursing some day. I like being there with the families, If i can be the person to lighten your load or even help understand a little whats going on. I love my patients and residents. They brighten my day. I know its work and my job but I feel that we help each other. I have a huge family with 13 brothers and sisters and the families I work with are just an extension of that.

I became a caregiver when My mother got really sick and I had to quit school in the 11th Grade to take care of her. and I every since been a caregiver for 10 years now and love every bit of been one. I'm not A CNA and never has been but to me you don't have to be certified to care about a person or to take care of anyone who need your help on a daily base. I have took care of many different people some watch were handicap some with Alzheimer /Dementia some who were blind but one thing I know for sure Is how to love them regardless of there situation because everyone of them have a heart a soul and feelings. and that is why I love been a caregiver. about myself I put everyone before me I'm 52 years old have 10 grandchildren and love each and everyone of them the same. I have took care of people my whole adult like and I wouldn't tread it for anything. I'm looking for work because the family I was working for decided it was time to put their love one in a home. what I'm proud of is that I had the opportunity to care for my mother who always cared for me and I'm proud that I'm the lady she Taught me to be.
