The personality traits that help me be a great caregiver include my dependability, patience with others, and being thorough with my work. I take pride in providing excellent care no matter how long it takes. As far as experience goes, I recently completed my CNA program. I spent about 50 hours in a nursing home where I helped dozens of patients. I also graduated from a EMT course where I was also exposed to patient care in emergent settings. I've always been passionate about helping and protecting others, which is why I majored in criminal justice. However, a turn of events in my life brought me to the medical field and I have become fond of it ever since. One of the things I enjoy most about being a caregiver is the inner satisfaction of knowing I am helping another person, whether it be the smallest gesture or several tasks. Some my greatest personal achievements were making so many patients happy during my emt ride outs and during my time obtaining my hours at the nursing home.
