Caregiving made an impact in my life when my Uncle and Great Grandmother needed help in the last phase of their life. Both at different times came to stay at my home as I tended to their daily needs until passed. Seeing the happiness a little help from a smiling face brought them is something that brings tears to my eyes to this very day. I am a mother to a 5 year old special needs daughter as well. Her daily needs must be met in a more specific way than others.
