Hi! My name is Mia James and I am currently a student at Brookhaven Community College , planning to reviving my associates degree in Arts, in December, 2018. I am 23 years old and I am going to school online so my schedule is very flexible! I am planing majoring in Child Development and adolescence because I love kids and the developmental aspect of them is so interesting to me, especially children in their first year because I realize how intricate every little thing they do is. I am planing to use my degree to become a child councilor, in Middle School. I am a very reliable person and I do have my own car. I think I would be a good fit for this position because I have a lot of experience caring for children of all ages. I started babysitting at the age of 12 when I got my babysitting license. I love reading, dancing, arts and crafts, swimming, music, games, sports, playing outdoors, and animals! I also love doing all that stuff with kids! I try to get as much outdoor time as possible, I love being outdoors and I love how much learning there is for kids outdoors. I have also cared, for my Grandfather, Who has a slight dementia.I was there to provide a meal preps making sure uses the restroom I was there for transportation traveling to and from doctors appointments. And his reminder to take his pills through out the day. I have provider tons of caregiving experience which is why I feel this is my calling. This is something I love doing and I would not give it up or anything in the world to be able to provide, any help that I can't that's what put a smile on my face.
