I believe the qualities that make me a great caregiver are patience, compassion and attentiveness. These qualities are essential in assisting a patient at their bedside in their time of need. As stressful it can be for someone who no longer has the physical ability they once had, there needs to be someone who is understanding and empathetic to their desires to ensure comfort. My interest in becoming a caregiver comes from being the one my grandparents call on for help. I strongly believe in giving back to the community and equal effort for all ages of those in stand in the need of care. My enjoyment stems from seeing interacting and seeing my patients smile. I'm proud of the fact that step by step I'm making an impact on my patients as they always ask to see me again. Once I secure the peace of mind in my patients' families hearts and minds, my job is complete.
