I have always felt I was born in the wrong Era, because I love old movies and music. I also have a very good rapport with older people. I took care of my Mother for awhile and decided that that is what I was meant to do. I have been a Caregiver in peoples homes and have been working in an Independent Living facility for two and a half years. I enjoy working with the residents to make their lives more comfortable, assisting them in getting ready for their day without taking away their independence. I find if you listen you can learn a lot of things you never knew and love hearing their stories and jokes. My biggest personal achievement is my son who has grown up to be such a wonderful caring man who is becoming a Mechanical Engineer. I am a very caring, loving, compassionate, and out going person. I rarely meet a stranger and have a way of putting people at ease. I relate well with seniors and children. In my heart I feel much younger so that explains why I love Disney movies. I don't have grandchildren of my own yet, but can not wait to be a Grandmother.
