I started my career as a caregiver in a nursing home and that is where I received my CNA license. I knew at that time being a caregiver was definitely my calling. I went on to get my medical assistant certifications and LVN degree through Harris Hospital. I have worked as a caregiver for 15 years and would never do anything else. Working with seniors is so rewarding to me and I have worked with dementia through ALS patients and treat all of my patients as if they were my own family. I have worked with patients from dementia through ALS and absolutely love it. I have also learned a lot about different equipment and how to use them as well.
