I started caregiving as just a teenager. I would help my grandparents get ready for church every Sunday. After a while I would just sit with them most days. Making sure they were eating, taking their meds and going to the bathroom. At the age of 24 a became a certified nurse aide. By 30 I was a certified medication aide. I love what I do so much that it's hard trying to work doing something else. I've tried doing something different but just couldn't get with the program. I come from a family full of Nurses, Aides, a couple of Doctors and even pharmacists. Healthcare is all around me. This is what I do. I care!
