My background includes advanced patient care training, and I am a Registered Phlebotomist and Medical Assistant, giving me clinical experience beyond that of a traditional CNA. My passion for caregiving became deeply personal when I cared for my 95-year-old mother for six years. During that time, I experienced firsthand how difficult it can be to find a compassionate, knowledgeable, and dependable caregiver. That experience shaped the way I care for every client--with the same patience, respect, and dedication I gave my own mother. I believe every individual deserves to remain as independent, comfortable, and engaged as possible while living in a safe and supportive environment. I strive to provide not only excellent physical care, but also companionship, encouragement, and peace of mind for both my clients and their families. I offer flexible scheduling, including daytime, evening, overnight, weekend, and holiday shifts. Whether you need ongoing assistance, respite care for a family caregiver, or short-term help while recovering from an illness or surgery, I am here to help. I take great pride in being punctual, dependable, and attentive to each client's individual needs. I, Shonita Badillo became a caregiver because I love working with the elderly and, sick. Caregiving has always been my passion because, when I was a teenager I cared for my grandmother. I enjoy being a caregiver because, it gives me joy to see a smile on my clients face, and, also I feel I can bring a lot to their life such as understanding patience and, compassion. I feel I have achieved experience over the last 15 years. As I continue to work as a caregiver I feel more confident that I know my job and, that I can relate to my clients better. I have 15 years of experience as a certified nursing assistant. I have worked in a hospitals nursing homes and, private homes. My future plans is to futher my nursing experience. I hope to find a nice family to work for because I feel I have a lot to bring to a patients life. My availability is working days part time or fulltime.
