I became a caregiver 2007 when my dad had a stroke. After the hospital he was sent to a nursing home and while I was there visiting, I could hear other patients calling for help and no one would attend to them. I felt bad so I went into their rooms and asked if I could help. And with my spare time I would walk the halls and helped who ever needed help.. people thought I was an employee.
