I became a caregiver after taking care of my disabled mother for 10 years until her passing. I love taking care of and being able to assist adults/seniors in any way that I possibly can. I have experience with Alzheimer patients as well as stroke patients. I have been a caregiver for a stroke patient for the last year. It has been a long road working around 45 hours per week; but the greatest feeling is that I am now no longer with her because her needs have diminished and she has regained some of her independence. I have been married for 33 years and am the mother of 2 grown daughters and grandmother to 2 grandsons and 1 granddaughter. I have lived in Granbury, TX for the past 13 years. I am a native Texan and proud of it!
