My personality traits are being honest and taking responsibility for my actions, and abiding by the rules and regulations of the facility. Being diligent and hardworking. I became interested in caregiving work when I took of my grandmother who suffered from asthma for five years. I provided her with adequate breathing treatment needed such as nebulizer. Lifting the head of the bed to high fowler position and take of the triggers such pollution and dust. I make sure she got the necessary food and fluid at the appropriate time. Gave her the required skin, oral, and denture care. When I worked with her for one year the asthma was dramatical under control. From there I developed a great interest and joy initiation to extend my personal care to other people. What I enjoyed most as a caregiver is the way my resident appreciate me. They are most of the time told their family members that I was a good caring person. They found a great joy when I worked with them. A personal achievement I was proud of was to win the campaign of care twice in my work place coupled with a good appreciation letters from the residents I cared for during their stay in the facility.
