I became a care giver, because I was asked to help take care of my god father for a few months. I ended up staying in the field because I got another client by word of mouth and I absolutely love it. I enjoy what I do because I feel that I am making a difference in the lives of my clients not just because of their physical inability but the biggest part of my job is their mental well being. I try to put a smile and an Imprint on their heart every day. The personal achievement that I am very proud of, is that I have never had a client complain about my services. I pride myself on caring for my clients ,a nd their well being is a reflection of me. They may not always like the choices that I may have to make for them for their health but I have found, that they will appreciate the adjustments once they see and feel the benefits. I am very nurturing by nature . I appreciate my love and gift of servitude. I am a wife ,a mother, and a grandmother and I love family night once a month when we all get together and play taboo and eat a great meal together . My philosophy has always been "People don't care how much you know until they know how much you care." I also provide respite care. Short term and long depending on clients needs. ... more
