I am a very outgoing person my friends say. I love, love people. I love caring for all sorts of ages but love the elderly. I love to make them happy and I think laughter is so important. Doing things with them to keep their minds going. Making sure their hygiene is taking care of even when they feel unsafe with that area at times. I started being a caregiver because I always wanted to help people and let people feel wanted at any age. My grandma had cancer and I started my caregiving at young age of 10. She was special and she loved me taking care of her because I did not mind doing anything she wanted me to do and have kept doing the same for my clients. They need to feel they still have a say so in their own care. I have two beautiful children that are successful in life. raised them in church and taught them to be good people and respect people.

I have been a caregiver ever since I got out of high school. I have worked with some awesome people thru all the years. I sat with a house of representative, I sat with Zachary Scotts Sister, and several others. I also was a foster parent for 28 years and had over 120 children in that period plus having a caregiving job. Closed my home in 2011 due to me taking care of more serious cases of illnesses and I could not do both. I have had a lot of hospice clients lately. From cancer to ventilators and trach, feeding tubes and so on. Also just a caregiver to just dementia clients. I have taken care of couples before too. Most of those were live in. I am single so that is a awesome for Monday thru Friday. I find you need two days off where you don't get a burn out.
