Greetings, I've discovered that regardless of someones health condition or disability everyone deserves to have a good quality life and to be happy, thats way I became a "Compassionate Caregiver" it is so important to provide compassionate care to thoughes that need caring for. One of my good friends was in a car accident that left him as a Quadriplegic, now being such a young man, he became very depress with life and I had a problem with that so I decided to learn how to care for him and I did just that. I started by being Trained by the Healthcare facility free of charge were he lived. I started class room and hands on training for eight weeks and I had taken a CPR course. I did this so my friend could have a quality life. I also taken a course on how to transfer Quadriplegic patients so that I could transfer him the correct way from his wheel chair to my car and from the car to his wheelchair and back into the facility were he was living, that alowed us to go places, Dr appointments and places he liked going to. Then he stoprd looking at his self deficiencies but instead, he started loving life once again and loving people and we made the best of things. So he begin enjoying are times together once again just like old times and thats how I became a Home Healthcare Provider.

Empathy...I am able to cultivate closer bond by sharing happiness or the sadness of the senior I care for.I just graduated nursing school, I am a registered nurse waiting to take the board exams. Patient..I am very patient and I allow the senior am taking care of to move at their own pace and not make them feel rushed.. Dependable and honest... i work with great deal of independence...I'm always on time and prepared to perform required duties in the absence of continuous supervision. Compassionate...I possess a powerful desire to help others especially seniors ...they are inviting and available even if all they do is listen and provide companionship.
