Hi, my name is Jasmine Velazquez I am fluent in Spanish and English I can read it, write it ,translate,speak it. Spanish has always been our first language. I am a very dedicated person and have such a compassion in what I do in this kind of field. It has always been in my nature to help others. I am currently employed by St. Joseph Hospital I currently work 3 days out of the week a 12 hours a shift . I am in one of the busiest floors in the hospital. In the Med Surgery department, We see every patient that is fresh out of surgery or going to surgery from hip replacements to breast surgery. I work in such a fast pace environment. My shift consist of at least 13 patients a night. I know the importance of turning a patient every 2 hours. I know how to properly care for a patient when they are fresh out of surgery or just need assistance in there daily activities as grooming, toileting, bathing, walking, changing a patient every 2 hours.
