About JILL MARGARET

My name is Jill, and I am a resilient, compassionate, and service-driven caregiver with a diverse background in both military and civilian support roles. As a U.S. Army veteran, former special education paraprofessional, and certified Community Health Worker in the state of Texas, I bring a unique combination of discipline, empathy, and lived experience to every caregiving role I step into. What inspired me to become a caregiver was my deep-rooted passion for helping others--especially those facing challenges or in need of support. I find the greatest fulfillment in being a steady, trusted presence for others, offering not just care, but dignity, connection, and comfort. One of the proudest and happiest moments of my life was walking across the graduation stage in December, with my children and father cheering me on. After putting myself through college while raising four kids, navigating a divorce, and overcoming homelessness, that moment symbolized more than a degree--it represented perseverance, love, and the power of never giving up.

I found myself needing to care for my mom who fell broke her neck. She became quadriplegic. To keep her from going to a nursing home. My only daughter was 2. My oldest brother needed my help, no question I was there. These were very good years. I have worked in commission sales and real estate for over 20 years. I used a Hoyer lift it was invaluable, people must learn about lifting equipment. So not to injure their backs. I prefer to work in Houston now with in 15 miles. I have a pleasing attitude and look for the same I understand difficult times and prefer not to dwell on them. I try to look towards more positive endeavors. I am open to helping care for a special needs person.
