I am a professional caregiver with 13+ years experience helping individuals with special needs. My skills/experience and specific interests include focusing on the care of those with alzheimer's disease, dementia, depression and mobility issues as well as providing them with meaningful, stimulating companionship. In addition to providing the care they require, I am sincerely seeking a valuable one-on-one mutually respectful relationship with the person(s) to whom I provide care. I am detail oriented and have been valued (references provided) by the families I have been privileged to serve for improving the quality of life for the individual(s) in their family in my care. I am intelligent, resourceful, dependable and patient, and in excellent health. In the past I have been fortunate to travel extensively both in this country and abroad. I live in southwest Houston and would prefer working in the Katy/Sugar Land area and would be available and prefer to work full-time Monday through Friday. I would also be available, with prior notice, to work the occasional Saturday. I am not available to work Sundays.
