I have a very calm personality and get along with the elderly because I have a lot of patience. I feel that I was blessed in caregiving because I have done it for years with family and friends. I started off taking care of my grandparents who was sick with cancer and kidney disease. Then with my God mother who had Alzheimer's and a feeding tube. I was training to care for her by hospital staff. I have been taking care of my mom for years. I get satisfaction in knowing that I can take care of personal and physical needs. My mom has a pacemaker and I am proud that I learned how to handle that as well as previous family who was restricted to the bed. I love caring for the elderly and hopefully make the rest of their life the best of their life. I also help with our senior church members as much as possible.
