2009-Date- Bright star health care -Provide client with ADL as directed including; bathing, grooming, oral care, dressing, undressing, toileting activities, feeding, meal preparation, linen changes, light housekeeping -Take and record vital signs as well as height and weight, if required -Catheter care / ostomy care -Assist client in active and passive range of motion defined by the plan of care, document observed changes, report any changes to the Director of Nursing -Assist client in walking and transportation to doctor appointments, outdoor activities, shopping -Develop and promote a safe environment for quality client care through adherence to established policies, procedures, and standards -Ensured client’s rights are adhered to, Med reminder -Documents the telemetry, and drawing blood, Foley catheter insertions, checking blood glucose, taking vital signs -Documents dates of change discharge and new admits new patients -Performs transporter duties as necessary to Radiology, and discharged patients -Provides assistance with skilled nursing care as a Patient care tech. -Delivers and picks up lab specimens and patient care supplies and equipment. -Provides delegated clerical support as a charge nurse, entering physicians orders and standing for long periods. -Communicates with patients family, Physicians, unit personnel and staff, in an accurate, courteous and Professional manner in accordance with St Luke’s customer Service standards.
