I started taking care of my mother in my 20's when she was dying from breast cancer and then again 6 years ago for my father. I needed to find a second job becuase I am a single mother with 2 children going to college so I started working for a caregiving company (Senior caring services in Kerrville). I had starting getting lots of positive feed back about my ability to get along with the people i was taking care of and also was told i was very compasionate to all the needs of the actural patients. I have been doing this now for 6 years, I have done everything from hospics care to just companion care in a nursing home and everything inbetween I am very familiar with all types of machines like oxygen, suction, breathing treatments and peg tubes. Of all the families i have taken care of i always built a very trusting and close bond with not just the patient but also the family members. I have very good references not only from the company I work for but also from some of the families i have worked for.
