I began caring for my own Mom when I was 9 years old. She had many health issues and I enjoyed providing care for her so much so that I knew then that being a caregiver is what I wanted to do in my adult life. I also provided care for my father when he became elderly and needed my help. I have been working as a professional caregiver/CNA for 11 plus years.
