My name's Brady, I'm 24 years old and believe that serving others is the key to happiness within. I'm looking for an In Home caregiving position in California, Washington, Colorado, and Oregon to aide a smoother transition to the west coast. I have a warm compassionate nature to share and hope to offer my self to provide exceptional care that can be intrinsically aligned with humanity and empathy. I'm passionate about music, various mediums of art, self education, and working towards a saving goal to purchase my first home. I anticipate needing initial training and supervision as I grow comfortable with you/ your loved one and my role in providing the support. I've experience in housekeeping, preparing well rounded meals according to physician ordered diets, and communicate well with the elderly and those with progressive brain disorders. I feel care giving is a suitable role for me based on: - 3 years of dietary experience in a nursing home/ post acute rehabilitation facility - 2 years of assisting/ providing company to my best friend who provided her grandmother full time in home care in old age alongside COPD and mild dementia. - My mother is a nurse and I believe she passed down a heightened sense of empathy for others. My education experience in Public Relations has given the ability to communicate and quickly theorize tasks and processes. Through my education and prior work experience I'm confident that I can quickly learn and overcome any unfamiliar challenges that arise in the care taking process.
