My name is Jan Lybrand. Upon retiring from public schools as an educator and Educational Diagnostician, I am pursuing part-time employment. My goal is to help families by offering care and support for the elderly or homebound family members. My organizational skills and work experience will allow me to provide necessary care and attention which will benefit both the patient and his/her family. My experience in Special Education has equipped me with the knowledge of many disabilities as well as helping to meet one's needs through proper accommodations. Throughout my career, I have been successful in being a "team" player, always taking my job and responsibilities seriously. My attention to details has been a vital part of my career as I've been required to comply with state guidelines and deadlines. My concern and compassion for families contribute to the desire I have to help families in their time of need.
