Hi, My name is Siobhan Stewart and I have been caring for my aging, and or disabled clients for over 15 years. I love helping people, especially the aging and disabled. I think what makes me a great caregiver is that I'm kind hearted, have compassion, and try to do all things in my life according to how GOD would have me to do them. He is Love, and we are all his children, so I love everyone that I help, and if I'm ever in the same situation, I would want the same care provided to and for me. What attracted me to caregiving is when I worked at a Nursing Home when I was 18, although at that age, it really wasn't my passion, it was just a job, but I did see the need. It wasn't until later in life, and me helping my legally blind mother-n-law that I grew a passion, and have been loving it ever since. I think what I enjoy most about care giving is when my clients appreciates the care that I provide to them. I find joy, when I'm able to put a smile on their faces, and able to get them out of a depressed state, simply b/c I was a good companion for them. A personal achievement that I am very proud of is becoming a Christian. I just believe for me, if it had not been for His Grace and Mercy on and in my life, I would not be the person that I am today, and I feel like I am a very good person to everyone, not by my own recognition, but from others, whether from my personal or business life!
