I began caring for my own Mom when I was 9 years old. She had many health issues and I enjoyed providing care for her so much so that I knew then that being a caregiver is what I wanted to do in my adult life. I also provided care for my father when he became elderly and needed my help. I have been working as a professional caregiver/CNA for 11 plus years. I care for each person as if they are my own family member. I enjoy making people comfortable and happy. I have a positive personality and a can-do attitude. It is always my first priority to make sure that the patient/client is as comfortable and happy as possible at all times. I am also experienced with a hoya lift and gait belt as well as home bound patients / clients. I have experience with gastrostomy tube, incontinence, and I work very well with Alzheimer's / Dementia patients. I am a great cook and I'm very organized.
