I've been a CNA for 12 years. I love my patients being a caregiver brings me a extra amount of happiness. To be able to put a smile on a man/woman/child's face after providing care or even being a listening ear when they need it is such a overwhelming feeling. I started being a caregiver in 2008 home health with my brothee and I was nervous at first but once I got an understanding and a relationship with my patients it just opened up a whole new world for me and I've been happy doing it ever since. I enjoy the smile that comes across their face after a good bath or a good feeding, like helping a patient feel beautiful/handsome/loved that's what it's all about. I'm proud that after 12 years of service I'm still able to put a smile on the faces of so many people.
