Answer phones, provide admissions information to high school students and their parents, college students, high school counselors, and general public. Provide clerical support to Center director and admissions advisors. Assist and work with office managers from satellite offices in Dallas, Houston, and Austin campus. Set up vendors for payment, process invoices for center utilities and follow up to ensure payment, coordinate center student events, gather information and coordinate contracts for venues and hotels in preparation of events, run high school status reports, assist with inquiries on how to apply for freshman or transfer admission. Assist student applicants and high school counselors to resolve admissions processing issues by conducting research on university systems and communicating with admissions processing department staff. Receive, process, and submit confidential student documents received from students, high school counselors, or mail. Assist with answering email received on University inboxes and center email inbox. Process incoming mail, prepare outgoing mail and packages, maintain inventory of center furniture, equipment, office supplies, and recruitment material. Order office supplies, recruitment material, maintain office equipment, maintain building services such janitorial services, phone service, Internet service, and any repairs as needed. Gather information and prepare pre-event and post-event funding requests and budget summaries.
