About Dorothy

1. Why do I want to become a caregiver? I have been a caregiver since I was eighteen years old. I started off by taking care of my parents and haven't stopped yet. 2. What do I like about being a caregiver? I love to meet new people. Since I have been in the medical field for the last fourteen years it has been my patients who have taught me what it means to have compassion and patience. 3. What is a personal achievement that I am proud of? Graduating from nursing school in 2013 with honors. 4. Tell you something about myself. I have been in the medical field for fourteen years I have done a little of everything from telemetry, to medical surgical, to being a substitute teacher and correctional officer which was really interesting.
