Hello, Thank you for taking the time to consider me as your caregiver. With more than 35 years of experience in the medical field, I have provided care in a variety of healthcare settings. My background includes advanced patient care training, and I am a Registered Phlebotomist and Medical Assistant, giving me clinical experience beyond that of a traditional CNA. My passion for caregiving became deeply personal when I cared for my 95-year-old mother for six years. During that time, I experienced firsthand how difficult it can be to find a compassionate, knowledgeable, and dependable caregiver. That experience shaped the way I care for every client--with the same patience, respect, and dedication I gave my own mother. I believe every individual deserves to remain as independent, comfortable, and engaged as possible while living in a safe and supportive environment. I strive to provide not only excellent physical care, but also companionship, encouragement, and peace of mind for both my clients and their families. I offer flexible scheduling, including daytime, evening, overnight, weekend, and holiday shifts. Whether you need ongoing assistance, respite care for a family caregiver, or short-term help while recovering from an illness or surgery, I am here to help. I take great pride in being punctual, dependable, and attentive to each client's individual needs. Many of the families I have cared for over the years have come to think of me as part of their family, and there is no greater compliment than the trust they have placed in me. Caregiving came to me naturally in my younger years and I believe God has placed natural talents and gifts in all of us. I enjoy working with people and take my work seriously. I count it an honor to serve others and I hold myself accountable for the care I give others even how I communicate and relate to my clients and their families. I really do enjoy being a caregiver because I love to encourage others and to lift their hearts where I can. (I also believe that what goes around comes around and one day I may need someone to care for me and encourage me.) I am very proud of working in a hospital, learning to train the nursing staff on safety and patient handling techniques. I am now a single mom with children grown and living very productive lives. I am not married any longer so I have to restrictions on my time. I do prefer to work night shifts because I did this for many years as a single mom. (child care for 3 was cheaper this way so I have become accustom to working nights.) I do have very strong references upon request.
