I have always enjoyed helping people and providing them with someone they can trust and depend on, and I love making a change in peoples lives. I enjoy spending time with them, getting to know them, even listening to the same story a thousand times and seeing them smile and light up when they talk about memories and see that someone is listening. I then started helping engage residents, growing close to them and helping comfort them when things would go wrong, often I would stay after I clocked out to help them eat dinner and make sure that they were comfortable and happy, which is what in turn led me to falling in love with caregiving and activites.
