Hi Ive been in the medical field in various levels of patient care over 35 years. I have prenursing training and education , Im a registered Phlebotomist and Medical Assistant, much more than a CNA. After caring for my 95 year old mom for 6 years; the realization needing an xtra hand, if nothing else to get a break , was challenging to locate a professional quality caregiver that actually knew what they were doing, and were reliable. It's important to have a good fit with your reliable caregiver. In order to achieve quality care, the well-being , help maintain as much independence as possible, and mentally stimulation; plus provide comfortably safe environment is crucial. I offer a variety of shifts, days, and nights, over-night and weekends /holidays stays, to assist, and provide that much needed break to the full time family caregivers. Especially if you are on your own and need a helping hand till you recover, I'm there for you. I enjoy making a difference helping those that really need it. If it will help you stay home versus a skilled facility I'll be there to assist where I can. I take pride in being punctual, accomplishing the tasks at hand, and providing you peace of mind you have someone you can rely upon. I started over 10 years ago at a local nursing home here in Fredericksburg, TX. I fell in love with how close you get to the patients like learning about their interests, hobbies & about their families they loved so much. I cared for each & every patient as if they were my own family. I love the sincere talks & the laughs & the time I spend with each & every single patient I worked with. I also learned alot from my alzheimer's & dementia patients. It's a day to day adventure that I welcome gladly. I have experience in hospice care as well as home healthcare. No matter where I worked I learned something from each place & each wonderful patient I had the privilege to come in contact with. Now I hope to be of some help to you to bring my patient & outgoing care to you.
