Since becoming a CNA, I have truly found senior care work challenging but yet very rewarding. Not alot of people can do this work but with the right attitude and heart it can be fun. My personality traits are: friendly, reliable, leader, passionate, and understanding. What attracted me to being a caregiver, was just being able to be a helping hand in a field that not many people find appealing. I knew becoming a CNA would be hard but I've learned so many tools along the way that I will take along with me into my career. My most personal achievement as a CNA honestly is taking care of seniors while working during a pandemic. This event that was definitely unforseen put everyone at risk and being able to come in and work and put a smile on someone's face or just being in close contact, I've become family to some of these people and I'll never forget the impact they've made on me as a caregiver.
