My personality traits that help me to be a great caregiver is that I have patience, compassion, interpersonal skills, flexibility, loyalty and reliability. What attracted me to becoming a caregiver is when I had a sudden responsibility to care for my grandfather. It was at that moment I knew that I wanted to help others on a daily basis. The most enjoyable part for me as a caregiver is knowing that I am making a difference in someone's life. Caregiving is more than just the daily task of helping people bathe or dress . It is the personal interaction that gives people hope. My most personal achievement that I am extremely proud of is, over the 25 years of providing care and making patients smile when they need it the most. To me that moment is an achievement in itself.
