I starting my nursing career very young. My mother was diagnosed with cancer when I was younger, which sparked my interest in the healthcare profession. My junior year of high school I left my home school to attend a tech prep college course in nursing. During that time I received my STNA as well as other college credits. I began working as an aid shortly after that and have been ever since. I plan to continue my education as a nurse as well. I just recently moved to San Antonio to be with my husband. He is stationed here at Lackland Airforce Base till the end of 2020 where they will then move us somewhere else.
