I worked in a small elderly care residence, overseeing the needs of three patients at any given time. I would create individualized care plans, monitor medication usage, and assist them with their daily needs. This included housework, preparing meals, transportation, and providing good old-fashioned companionship. It was important that each of my patients could trust and depend on me as a caregiver and a friend. Working in smaller facilities has allowed me to give more personalized attention to my patients, and that is one of the reasons I feel the caregiver position at carelinx would be the perfect fit.
