I am a college student who has a big heart for helping others. When I'm working with the elderly I don't feel like I'm working. My job is enjoyable and has a purpose. I love the work I do everyday when I see how I make someone's life easier in so many ways just providing a helping hand. I'm very patient and kind which makes me work well with all different types of personalities. I've always wanted to do caregiving because it's the best way to help my elders. My elders have put so much into the world and they deserve the best of care in their time of need. My favorite thing about being a caregiver is getting to talk about the "old days" with my clients and hear stories that I could only imagine of. Just being a companion in general is really enjoyable for me in so many ways. I see myself doing this kind of work for a very long time. I can't see myself doing anything else with my life.
