I enjoy being able to assist and provide companionship to the elderly. Spending time and getting to know them while being able to meet their needs is gratifying. My long term goal is to be able to work with children and elderly, I am currently in school for Social Work.

I have years of home health experience. Great people person, with patience, and some medical skills. Being a care giver is a easy occupation as i have been caring for my elderly mother for years now. It also keeps me ony toes as we know health changes from day to day. Having medical assistant background also makes this task a bit easier being that i have some medical training.

What I like most as a caregiver is providing what they need such as being their extra hand at the time. Being companion to them, prepping their daily meals and assisting with their meds.

I'm a caregiver to my boyfriend. He's proud of what I do to him. I do every possible things that I can help him. I enjoy doing the work it's like doing things at my home. As a great caregiver I try to remain very positive all the time. I became a caregiver to be able to help those who cant help themselves, to try and help them build the confidence some may have lost during some difficult moments they must have gone through if it may have been through some therapy, or a on going treatment they are still facing. Being a caregiver gives me great feeling knowing that I have made a difference in someones life. When I see a patient has recovered more that 50 percent it gives me great joy to know I have made a difference in someones life. To have a patient to being speechless to even a good morning is a huge difference to me. Its what makes me want to go to work every day and know I will continue to make a difference in someones life.
