my name is jatavia , i have been a caregiver for over 2 1/2 years now. i started caregiving my senior year of high school , completing all 4 years of the home health/PCT program to continue my career as a nurse but later decided not to pursue the profession. i recently have been working in nursing homes or doing private home care , i have even worked at a state school for people with disabilities. This path is my extracurricular journey because i have experience and have did it for so long. Not to mention i have high experience in companionship , transfers , ADLs , housekeeping , bathing , toileting , meal prep , med reminders , and etc. I love what i do because it helps me understand every client and help who are affected by a situation that brings them down and im able to care for them to bring them back up.
