I became a caregiver because I love to take care of people in need. I am grateful that I can be there for someone who needs me. I like being a caregiver because I like to take care of my patients so that they can live to their fullest. My personal achievement is that I have taken care of my own daughter since she was seven years old. She was a very sick little girl with epilepsy, severe asthma, acid reflex, and three heart murmurs. She was in the hospital every other day. I never left her side no matter how tired or exhausted I was. Even though I had a partner I took care of her on my own. I never gave up hope and never let her give up either. My daughter is now 29 years old and still requires my assistance but she is not as sick as she was when she was younger. Taking care of my own daughter made me a strong person mentally and spiritually. My daughter has also become a strong young woman because she now has three little boys that she has to care for. I love my job as a caregiver. I have a great personality and I bring out the good in my patients. I have a lot patience and compassion. I will go above and beyond for my patients and will do the best that I can for them.
