I'm available to assist you or your loved one, on Saturdays and Sundays, anytime between the hours of 8a to 8p/nothing less than an 8-hour shift please. Furthermore, to know that I'm giving my best to others in time of need is what gives me purpose. I became a caregiver for my mother, when she was recovering from several surgeries, in different skilled nursing facilities. All the while, making many observations concerning the staff and noticing their attention was not up to my standards of what genuine care should be. I knew then, that I wanted to make a difference and was compelled to. Since, I've made strides in obtaining education with certifications; continue with on-line courses to keep me informed with state guidelines and any changes that occur in the health care field...because this is vital. I find it very rewarding to nurture and care for those who require help in their daily routine. I also encompass compassion, dignity, patience, courtesy, integrity and a warm sense of humor. Unfortunately, I don't do housekeeping; with the exception of cleaning up after myself in the kitchen (if meal preparation is needed) and the bathroom (when showers are needed). I've also been a hospice aide, caregiver and a home health aide for over 21 years now. I have reliable transportation w/a Texas driver's license. My automobile insurance, CNA (in good standing in the state of Texas), -TB screening, COVID inoculations and CPR are all current. Thank you for the consideration. Well wishes finding the right fit!

I am a very loving, compassionate,joyful and patient caregiver. I am very detail oriented and a do my work with a spirit of excellence! I am very dependable and knowledgeable as I have been a caregiver for 20 yrs. My first job as a caregiver was in 1996. While I was donig Missionary work in Victoria, Tx., a 23 yr. old homeless man came to us for help. He had many health issues and after taking him to the Dr. in San Antonio, they found out that he had Cancerous tumor in his Brain. He was given 6 months to live and I brought him to San Antonio, Tx. and became his caregiver in our home. He lived 3 yrs. and I had the priviledge of learning how to be a Hospice Caregiver without the pay from man...but God rewarded me with the awesome experience and prepared me for a new career in Caregiving!
